It's been ages that i didn't update my wine tasting over here
Though i have my own wine tasting note book
Still i want to share over here.... haha!!!!
During my last trip to KL in June
Jamie, Lynette and me went to Alexis Bistro @ Bangsar
As celebrate my 24th birthday
We ordered a bottle of white wine
Wine Name : Tahuna
Grape Variety: Sauvignon Blanc
Vintage : 2009
Country : Marlborough, New Zealand
Alcohol : 12.5%
It's pale gold in color
The nose is with ripe tropical fruits
The first taste of the wine is refreshing and fruity
However, i would not recommend this wine to go with spicy food
Because it caused the food become more spicy
I had a spoon of Angel Hair Aglio Olio (which is spicy)
Then i drank the wine
And i just felt spicy and spicy only
The wine is nice to drink when it's chilled
8 - 9 degree celcius will be good
And, please remember to put on the cap after pouring
Else the wine will become bitter and spicy
When it starts oxidize
Overview:
I only enjoyed the wine when it's chilled and yet oxidize :p
